ABOUT THE COMPANY
The main activity of Skłodowscy is wholesale (approx. 60% of the annual turnover) and retail sales of fertilizers, plant protection products, certified seed, feed, and other necessary materials for agricultural production which comes from reputable domestic and foreign suppliers.
The company conducts retail sales through a network of its own points of sale marked with their own brand names, which are located in 7 locations: Zaręby Kościelne, Andrzejewo, Daniłowo, Szulborze, Mściszewo, Kosów Lacki, Skłody Stachy. All the above-mentioned points of sale have shops, warehouses, goods yards, and petrol stations. The mutual contracting of grains- wheat, triticale, rye, oats, barley, rape, and corn- is becoming an increasingly important form of the company activity; attractive contracting conditions serve this purpose, ensuring financial security for producers. The strength of Skłodowski, employing over 100 employees, is logistic delivery based on its own transport fleet.

The Animal Nutrition Department, which deals with nutritional consulting and the production of Corn Energy animal feed components, is characterized by particularly dynamic development. Only the highest quality raw materials are used in the production to provide the animals with valuable food and keep them healthy.
Observing the market needs, under the patronage of the largest Polish fertilizer producers, the company has created the PLUS fertilizer line for precision agriculture. The balanced composition allows the plant to take the supplied nutrients at a high level, what is associated with the economy and lesser leaching of fertilizers into the groundwater.

PRODUCTION PLANT
Corn Energy feed components produced by Skłodowski have been available on the market since 2016.
The plant is equipped with a modern packaging line and modern machinery facilities. We produce high-quality products not only thanks to the parameters of raw materials but also thanks to the innovations we use.
LOGISTIC AND WAREHOUSE CENTRES
Logistics Centres in Kunów, Szepietów and the UAN (urea ammonium nitrate solution) Centre in Ostrów Mazowiecka were established to meet the storage needs of the company. Their locations give the possibility to optimize logistics activities and efficiently coordinate orders.

THE COMPANY'S HISTORY
ESTABLISHMENT
01.06.1990
Hurtownia Artykułów do Produkcji Rolnej Michał Skłodowski was established on the basis of a family vegetable farm. It was set as an individual entrepreneurship that deals with the sale of agricultural fertilizers.
DYNAMIC DEVELOPMENT
1990 – 1996
In the first years of operation the company was developing very dynamically and already in 1995 there was established the first branch of the company with a petrol station. In 1996 the company residence was moved to Zaręby Kościelne on Czyżewska 20 street.
NEW AREAS OF ACTIVITY
1999 – 2009
The company's activity was expanding, and so were its ranges. The company began cooperation with many farms in the northern part of Poland, there, in Mściszewo near Olecko, the first grain drying and storage centre was built.
TRANSFORMATION
2010
At the beginning of the decade the company was transformed into Skłodowski general partnership with Elżbieta and Michał Skłodowski on the management board.
EQUITY STAKE
2011
Skłodowski purchased shares in Centrala Nasienna in Kielce which produces certified seed. The company started a dynamic development of both companies all over Poland.
CORN ENERGY
2015
A production plant for Corn Energy feed components was established and a team of specialists for the production and feeding of animals was created.
UAN CENTRE
2017
An authorized UAN Centre was established in Ostrów Mazowiecka under the patronage of Grupa Azoty. The center was created to store and distribute Urea Ammonium Nitrate solution.
PLUS FERTILIZERS
2018
In cooperation with the largest Polish fertilizer concerns, we created our own brand of PLUS fertilizers composed for precise fertilization.
AN EXEMPLARY AGRO-ENTREPRENEUR OF POLAND
2019
The company was awarded for achievements and contribution to the development of agriculture. Elżbieta and Michał Skłodowski received congratulations from the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Jan Krzysztof Ardankowski.
